Q; Where are songs sourced from?
A; It varies from hearing a song on the radio to suggestions from other people which can be friends on social media to fellow singers.
Q ; How do you decide if a song is suitable?
A; Although it is very disappoiting when a song you like has to be rejected, all songs have to meet certain criteria which includes, but is not limited to, Range, Key, Lyrics, song length, breathing points and other factors.
Q; Are there any songs you would never sing?
A; Yes. All songs of a political nature or songs with explicit lyrics are banned from auditioning or performing.
Q Why do you not sing songs live which you have not sung before?
A; Simply because you are not familiar with the detail of the song and as such are not adiquately prepared. This can be potentially dangerous for breathing and not to mention damage to vocal cords, in addition to a number of other factors. I would never recommend that amyone does this. There is a well structured production and development process which all songs go through prior to being performed at any venue.
Q; Favourite song?
A; It would be very difficult to choose. I would base it on the one I look forward to singing the most. that would be ‘I Just Fall In Love Again’. This is a song I always enjoy singing whenever the ambiance at a venue allows. it is a very lovely song.
